Hundreds of creative resources for teaching and learning in the classroom were displayed by future early childhood education (ECE) and primary school teachers from Tonga National University (TNU) today, at Queen Salote Memorial Hall, in Nuku'alofa.

As part of their TNU program assessment, seven ECE student teachers and 28 primary student teachers designed resources for teaching and learning.

The ECE student teachers displayed Tongan dictionaries, 100 songs and 100 poems.

Meanwhile, the primary student teachers each showcased several learning activities and lessons that they each designed.

Some of the resources were made by second and third-year students who will graduate this year, and will be using these teaching and learning resources in the classroom next year.

TNU will hold a three-day joint graduation ceremony for all its faculties, to be held from 4-6 December. King Tupou VI  is expected to attend the ceremony.
